We loved Obama's speech last night and decided to have the kids set some goals for themselves for the year. I'm typing them down so we can refer to them.
Kayla:
1.Alphabetize 20 words up to the 4th letter of each word.
2.Learn to read new words that I've never seen before.
3.To learn two more song books for piano and the song, Colors of the Wind.
4.To learn 3rd grade math.
Collin:
1.To read the last book of his Hooked on Phonics series, "Tick Tock gets a Pal"
2.Write a sentence by myself.
3.Write hard words like "plane, alphabet and computer." (OK that is pretty cute)
