Kayla has been working on a writing project for some time now with her writing and math teacher. We were invited (by pink invitation with butterflies) to join Kayla and Mrs. K on Monday afternoon for her author day, where she would present her project to us. The project was a book and a fabulous one at that! She was sooo smiley the whole time she was presenting the book. It was adorable.
Kayla has been working on the use of similes, onomatopoeia, alliteration, personification and hyperbole's. We are so proud of her!
